The third rounds in both categories will take place in Besední dům in Brno on 20 September 2026 in cooperation with Bohuslav Martinů Philharmonic, conducted by Robert Kružík.

PRIZES

MAIN PRIZES

Financial awards are announced for each category separately:

1st prize: CZK 100,000

2nd prize: CZK 70,000 

3rd prize: CZK 40,000

The financial awards above are subject to tax and/or other possible deductions in accordance with laws and regulations valid in the Czech Republic.

The juries reserve the right not to award individual prizes or to divide them in accordance with the Statute.

The title “Laureate of Leoš Janáček International Competition in Brno”, together with diplomas with their names, titles and prizes belong to all prizewinners. Holders of honourable mention and special prizes and bonuses will also get diplomas without any claim to the title of laureate.

SPECIAL PRIZES FOR TUBA

Special prizes are currently being negotiated.

SPECIAL PRIZES FOR FRENCH HORN

Honoured concert performance as part of the “International Music Festival For the Treasures of Broumov Region 2027”.

The prize will be awarded to the selected laureate based on the decision of the festival director. The prize is provided by the partner of the competition International Music Festival For the Treasures of Broumov Region.

SPECIAL PRIZES FOR EACH CATEGORY

Concert of the best Czech participant of the competition within the event “Days of Young Performers, Brno 2027“.

The prize is provided by the partner of the competition the Association of Moravian Composers.

Sheet music from the production of the music publisher Bärenreiter Praha for the best participant of the competition.

The prize is provided by the partner of the competition Bärenreiter Praha s.r.o. – music publisher.

Futher special prizes are currently being negotiated.

Application deadline and payment of a competition fee is till 31/05/2026.

The competition fee is possible to pay by bank transfer (more details are in the conditions) or by credit card HERE.
